OUR STORY

Padel belongs at the pub.

We bring padel and the pub together on one site, starting with an existing, working pub rather than building a sports facility from scratch and adding hospitality as an afterthought. It didn't start with padel. It started with a pub.

1

Flagship venue in Chesham, the start of the network.

2

Covered panoramic courts, added to the pub.

UK-wide

A growing network, one great pub at a time.

OUR STORY

It started with a pub.

The Black Horse has been carefully restored around quality food, local partnerships and a warm welcome. That ethos is our foundation, not something bolted on around a set of courts.

  • Two covered panoramic courts being added to the pub
  • A Padel Café already serving the local community
  • An outdoor bar and grill through the summer months
  • Local suppliers, including native British meat producers

Padel is the newest part of the story, not the whole of it.

OUR APPROACH

A real pub and real courts, on one site.

Padel players don't just play. They stay, eat, drink and bring friends. Every venue is built around that idea.

SWIPE THROUGH

One site, not two businesses

Courts and pub built alongside each other on the same site, not treated as separate businesses.

Pub-grade hospitality

Hospitality standards that reflect an established pub, not a sports venue with a bar attached.

Local at heart

Local sourcing and local partnerships wherever possible, part of how each pub already operates.

Invested in community

Real investment in the community around each venue, on and off the court.

WHERE WE'RE HEADED

The start of a national network.

The Black Horse Chesham is our first venue, launching September 2026. It sets the template: future venues each paired with an existing pub, grown through partnerships with owners.

Frequently asked

A few common questions about us and what we're building.

Is the Black Horse open now, even though the padel courts aren’t?

Yes. The pub, Padel Café and outdoor bar and grill are already open and welcoming visitors. The padel courts launch in September 2026.

How do I find out when a new venue is announced?

Register your interest and follow us on social media. Updates on new venues will be shared as partnerships are confirmed.

Do you only work with existing pubs, or would you consider a new build?

Our model is built around adding padel to an existing, working pub, which is why partnerships with pub owners are central to how we grow.

How can I get involved if I’m not looking to play padel?

There are several ways, from visiting the pub and café to exploring a partnership if you own or run a pub yourself. Get in touch and we’ll point you in the right direction.

What makes Padel At The Pub different from a standalone padel club?

Every venue is built around an existing pub, so the food, drink and atmosphere are as much a part of the experience as the courts themselves.

Come and be part of it.
